Questions for Week 2's Prayer Study

Consider the following questions:

 1. Have I ever neglected to pray because I felt God would do whatever He wanted to do anyway?
 2. If the real purpose of prayer is to fulfill God’s purposes on earth, how much do I know about those purposes? How can I learn more about what God’s purposes are?
 3. Have I been resisting God’s will in any area of my life?
 4. What can I do today to build a deeper relationship of love with God?
 5. What is one of God’s purposes that I can begin to agree with Him about in prayer today?

Have I ever neglected to pray because I felt God would do whatever He wanted to do anyway? I never neglect to pray. That is my connection with my Father in heaven, my fellowship with Him. I know that I am more than a conqueror through Christ, so I shield my faith in God. Regardless what God does in my life, I always go to Him for strength and wisdom; which I absolutely need everyday of my life.

If the real purpose of prayer is to fulfill God’s purposes on earth, how much do I know about those purposes? How can I learn more about what God’s purposes are? I can learn more about what God's purposes are for me by inviting the Holy Spirit to speak to me. In prayer and meditation we can hear God speak to us through the Holy Spirit.

Have I been resisting God’s will in any area of my life? Absolutely not. There was a time in my life, when I was a babe in Christ, when I did resist God in some areas of my life. Not anymore. I need to eat and live God's word, therefore; I invite Him in my life everyday. To guide my steps and to use me according to His will.

What can I do today to build a deeper relationship of love with God? Continue to seek Him. I know God's strength makes me perfect in my weakness. So I need to fellowship with Him on a daily basis. I know that His love for me is endless and unconditional.

What is one of God’s purposes that I can begin to agree with Him about in prayer today? God promises freedom from sin. We have been redeemed; sin has been put away. Revelation 12:11 "And they have conquered him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."
Hebrews 9:26 "If that had been necessary, Christ would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But now, once for all time, he has appeared at the end of the age to remove sin by his own death as a sacrifice.
Hi Team in Christ, I emailed my responses - not sure why the added codes were picked up in my response just now. I hope this post is better.

Have I ever neglected to pray because I felt God would do whatever He wanted to do anyway? Hi Team, the codes were recorded again. It could be because the questions were copied and pasted into this blog. Well, I have emailed my responses. Have a great Sunday!
